Gearhart By The Sea-Oregon Coast Resort

What a great place to stay by the ocean in Gearhart!! First: the view clear ocean view from the deck and living room which brought a smile to my face. The condo 667 was clean, had all I needed to cook, lots of towels, linens, and even directions for the tub and shower. : ) One of the first challenges in a new place how to work the bath and shower LOL. Check in was easy and quick as was check out. My only not so great was the exercise room by the pool. The equipment is old and rusty with broken parts so I dont recommend it. Better to walk on the ocean anyway.. : D The pool is great, indoors and warm. Bring a warm robe though if there in cold weather as you need to go outside to get to the pool. Fun to visit Seaside and Canon Beach just a short drive to the south and Fort Stevens Park and the Columbia River to the north. Enjoy! I sure did.

We just returned from another stay at Gearhart by the Sea. We were celebrating our anniversary, and I must say this visit was 5 star perfect! We immensely enjoyed unit G706. Loved the roomy, updated unit with beachy decor, and great view of the beach/ocean. Going at the end of March we lucked out with sunny days and fantastic sunsets. Went on multiple leisurely walks on the beach, steps from the resort. It was so peaceful and relaxing. From the friendly greeting at check-in, to smooth check out, everything was perfect. This unit is a winner. (A few years ago, during covid we stayed in unit G658. It was also a very nice unit).

Such a relief after experiencing the price hikes and diminished ameneties offered all up and down the Oregon Coast over the past few years. The condo was clean and bright and well stocked with all the essentials. The view was AMAZING! Check-in was a breeze and on-site customer support meant there would be no frantic issues with lockboxes not working and no cell service to sort it out. Gearhart was quiet and lovely and close to all the other North Coast places you want to visit. We had a fantastic weekend.
