I called for someone to come out to give me a bid (price) for a patio roof. First it took 3-4 weeks without a call then after calling again an appointment was set. The person who came out looked at a few pictures I had and didn’t even look at the backyard where I wanted it put. I was told we don’t do bid work and I asked isn’t it appropriate to give me a price for a job. He very rudely said this would not “be a good fit” and left. What is it with contractors in this town? A 3-4 day job for possibly a price near 10,000 and no interest and even a rude lack of interest. Having built three homes and countless remodels I have never been treated so poorly.
