Curry County Circuit Court

Our officiant told us to come here on our wedding day as we are from out of state. They turned us down saying we need an appointment. I told them our officiant told us this information and they said too bad you need an appointment. They finally said they will give us an exception but they didnt tell us they had a waiver!! They almost ruined our wedding we had to drive back and forth 4 times. They made our day so stressful and I honestly will never get over this. There was no reason they couldnt offer us a waiver in the first place, my husband had to see me in my hair and makeup because of them

So Helpful for my Marriage License Planning a wedding from afar is not a walk in the park, but the Curry County Courthouse made it so easy on me! Their website was super helpful and clear to what I needed to do and know. I called anyway and the staff answered by questions with patience and directed me to resources. I wound up calling a few times over the course of the couple months in planning and they were always helpful and patient. Since we were traveling from out of state, we filled in the marriage application before heading up to Oregon so when we got there, the hardest part had been done already. We were able to get an exemption to the 3 day waiting period which really helped our timeline of RV travel to be able to get back to Arizona on time. After the ceremony the next day we were able to walk in to the courthouse, turn in the paperwork, and get certified copies of the license within a few minutes. Thank you, Curry County, for making the legal aspect so easy and timely for us. We had a beautiful wedding on the coast that will bring me happy memories!
