Quatama Elementary School

I am now in college, I attended Quatama in 4th and 5th grade. Out of the 9 elementary schools I've been to, this one was by FAR the worst. The recess and kitchen staff were always rude, and when I was severely bullied and tried to reach out to my teacher, the principle and counselor, they did nothing. I was shoved to the ground, made fun of, got name called in class in front of everyone, and went to the bathrooms many times and cried for a good 15 minutes before returning to class only to get yelled at for being gone for too long. When I told my teacher what has been happening, she told me "you just need to ignore them." I told the principle and counselor, they told me the same. I told my parents and they contacted them and they did nothing. They didn't even allow me to switch classes so I wouldn't see the girls who picked on me as much. I ended up switching schools because this one doesn't care about the safety or the well being of their students. Do your children a favor and save them from this school. What I went through and everything that had happened to me affected the rest of my childhood. There were multiple times I went home with bruises on my arms from being hit and red eyes from crying so much. Don't let the same thing happen to your kids that happened to me.
