Dr. Lin removed some lymph nodes near my brachial plexus. In office procedure. First he offered anxiety meds to help me relax, yet never called them in. During the removal, my shoulder jumped, which I knew wasnt right. When done he told me just take ibuprofen and Id be ok. I called the next day in extreme pain and the nurse sounded surprised he didnt call in anything. Next I noticed my shoulders were crooked and I had VERY limited ROM. With my knowledge I figured the shoulder jerk was cause he hit a nerve which he denied. The clinic tried to say it was PTS and autoimmune disease. I was fine, then I wasnt, highly unlikely. After multiple nerve conductions, they said 3 nerves were effected, yet they didnt take ownership for their error. 5 years later, Im still dealing with nerve pain, whole right side atrophy, winged scapula and limited ROM. He stole so much of my freedom. I just wish he would own up and apologize. I cant even reach above my head anymore with that arm. Physiatrist offered muscle and nerve transplants and wiring my scapula in placewhich Id have to pay for as well to fix his error. DONT go to him unless your done being active and dont mind half your body being atrophied and living in pain.
