Great local shop. They have fresh pupcakes and tons of clothing. 99% of their items are small business or locally sourced so expect to pay a little more but everything is quality and is worth the price. If you don't want to go to hillsboro catch their pupcakes at the beaverton farmers market on Saturdays

Sounds like the Bakery is wonderful. However, I recommend against getting anything toy related. I bought a cute microwave treat set for my small dogs birthday. She loved it immediately, but quickly tore into the toy. She vomited up the center of the treat later that night. I was hesitant to return the item since this is a small business, but it was $18.95 and my dog couldn't even use the treats. Side note this is the 2nd time a toy I bought here, for my other dog, fell apart very quickly. In that case, chalked it up to it being the wrong type of toy for that dog. My son and I bought it mostly for us to use while participating in the downtown market. But this toy was not usable and made my dog sick. So I went in to return it. Planning to do an exchange and to ease my mind about doing a return with a small business I planned to spend $30 more. That was until the business owner made me feel terrible and required me to take a refund on my card. I felt so bad, I just wanted to leave. The owner was upset that I wasn't going to buy anything. I wound up picking 2 edible items for around 12 bucks. 7 calendar day return policy. Even when your 7 day period falls on the day the store is closed. No compassion for my dog. So bakery goods okay, support small business that way, just don't expect toys to be worth the trouble.

Puppernickel is a pet supply store in Hillsboro, they specialize in making cute handmade and natural doggie treats That are sold inside their bakery Located in the far back of the shop. There are also many accessories and toys for your furry friends. I ended up getting some Easter cookies ($5) for my 2 dogs at home. They also have pupcakes for your dog's birthday. Overall, a really cute shop for your pets would recommend coming and checking it out.

AMAZING!! I came into this store today with my daughter to get some items and it was wonderful! We got a chance to ask questions about certain products and got Excellent customer service! We didnt catch the name of the individual that was helping us but wanted to make the store aware of the amazing customer service we were provided! And if you are the person who helped us today and reading this, you made my daughters year by what you said and what you did so THANK YOU!!! I will be coming back to you over and over to purchase our doggie items! My daughter is still talking about the pink kitty stuffed animal To everyone who reads this, go to this store! It is so cute and the customer service is amazing!!!

Finally had a chance to stop by and was so glad I did- we ordered an adorable birthday cake for our dog and it was a huge hit at his birthday party! Not only was the cake everything we hoped for and more, the service we received was so friendly and welcoming. Absolutely will go back again!
