Being a part of the warrior Photo shoot was a joyous experience that fed my soul. I laughed. I cried. I concurred! Danyel is an AMAZING photographer who was warm, welcoming and creative. She guided me through the photo shoot and sparked my inner warrior. Thank you Danyel for capturing so much joy.

My warrior experience was truly amazing every step of the way! It was a day I will never forget, that was so much fun and SO empowering! It was like getting to play dress up as a kid but SOOO much cooler! This is a must for anyone whos had breast cancer and wants to feel powerful after their experiences.

I truly enjoyed my experience with Warrior Women Portraits! Danyel does a great job of helping her clients feel comfortable in front of the camera and to tap into their warrior spirit. I really enjoyed the process of doing the make up and putting together the looks with the costume pieces she had and sharing the experience with the other women I shared the session time with. It was really fun to see the finished photos too and get to view myself in a different light than usual and to see my strength, power and quiet warrior spirt come through. This was the perfect way to commemorate my 5 years of being cancer free!

This was a magical and healing photography session as a breast cancer survivor. I loved the camaraderie, laughter, stories told & joy we 3 women shared during our session. Danyel is warm, funny, a gifted photographer and fellow survivor. She understands so well what weve been through. Highly recommend for survivors reclaiming their bodies & self image after cancer.
