Lovely park with lots of mature oak and fir trees and green grass as well as a nice play structures for kids. Located near downtown Hillsboro and right next to the old Hillsboro Library and the Hillsboro Aquatic Center. In the summer they have free concerts in the park. Great for walks, studying, enjoying nature, time alone, or time with friends. Lots of great benches and tables. They even have horseshoe pits. Fun fact: Shute Park was the first official public park in the city of Hillsboro. Playground: Great play areas! They have a smaller one for the small kids and a bigger one for big kids and adults. They have swings in several places and even horseshoe pits in the summer!
