Campground is right beside the highway and I could hear traffic all night. There was also no river access for folks camped across the campground from the river. Bathrooms were clean and there was potable water and a place to dispose of kitchen sink water. It was extremely frustrating that the campground hosts rules are different than what is stated on Recreation.gov. We were told by the campground host that we could not have more than two tents. Ive never heard of this. We had two 2 person tents and one 3 person tent for six people. How was this not allowed but we could have had two 10 people tents with 10 people total? These completely arbitrary rules either need to be on Recreation.gov or need to be standardized across campgrounds. What were we supposed to do when we had driven two hours with each group having a tent and then we find out about the tent limit? Drive back to a store to buy a tent? Cram four adults into a two person tent? Then the website says that each car beyond one is $8, however the campground host was telling us that we couldnt even have more than two cars. And then our payment for one of the cars was questioned on day 2 of being there (this was beginning to feel a bit like harassment at this point). We also

Larry the camp host made us feel right at home. Place is so well maintained and is the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle. The river is crystal clear and offers great fishing.

This is a very shady, old growth forest campground about 10 to 30 feet off HWY 22. VERY LOUD! The camphosts this year are keeping the toilets immaculate. Also selling very pricey green firewood, so do not buy. Get your firewood in Sisters. Cheaper and twice as much for the same price. We had to leave the wood, to wet to burn. If you get a spot next to creek, it will block some of the highway noise.
