Great waterfall! Hike is downhill to the falls, uphill back out. Not terribly steep but it definitely gets the heart rate up on the way back to the trailhead. Fees: Free, it's YOUR national forest. Restrooms: None. Dog-friendliness: Great trail to bring your dog. There was no one else there when we went.

Beautiful hike the entire time leading to a beautiful waterfall that you xan get right up to, though the rocks get very slippery the closer you get to the base. Not too difficult but the walkway was narrow and the return trip was a lot of uphill! Nobody else around when I went mid October, so lots of seclusion at times. The last bit of road to thr trail wad getting fairly rutted so I would not recommend cars.

Whoa! Lemelo Falls trail is not for faint of heart. Easy getting to Falls, it's the hike back up!! Don't recommend with a dog or any personal ailments. Bri g water too. I don't have any ailments, but my 8 yr old dog was spent when we finally got back to truck. Beautiful waterfalls though.
