What an absolute gem of a spot! My husband and I wanted a staycation -- and this was the perfect spot for it. What a beautifully renovated, historic small hotel in Jacksonville. If you haven't been, go! And the owners are absolutely delightful!

We stayed in Suite #2 for a spontaneous stay-cation and loved it. Beautiful inside and out, and wonderfully attentive hosts. It's less than a five-minute walk to everything you'd want or need, but feels serene and oh-so relaxing. We'll definitely be back!

We will be coming back to stay at Kubli Haus as often as we can! This is truly a relaxing and rejuvenating space that puts you in the heart of fantastic Jacksonville. We can't wait to bring friends and more family along on future visits so they too, can experience the tasteful luxury and modern touches the owners have invigorated this historic house with. Kathleen is the best! She is so friendly and helpful and makes you feel right at home. We appreciated her knowledge of local attractions and events in this special community. You know those indulgent, cozy books about some inn set in an idyllic small scenic town filled with charming residents? This is like that, but it's real! Rooms: Kubli Haus is the pinnacle of quiet luxury in a historic home that has been lovingly restored to offer five suites/studio for travelers lucky enough to stay there. Our room, (Suite 1) was peaceful, immaculate and beautiful. Highlights included the lovingly restored, original wooden flooring, and giant sitting room windows that looked out on the neighborhood deer. The bed was extremely comfortable and topped with a fluffy duvet. We got true rest each night of our stay. The owner, Kathleen, has tastefully decorated with a delightful mix of antiques and modern touches that will make you want to hire her to redecorate your home. We appreciated that the room was air-conditioned and soundproofed, as we never heard any of our neighbors during the visit. We loved sitting out on the giant wraparound porch in the evening with a glass of local wine. This is truly a special place. Nearby activities: Kubli Haus is perfectly situated in the heart of scenic and historic Jacksonville. You can spend the day checking out the numerous and varied cute boutiques, and antique shops while fortifying yourself with delicious coffee and/or amazing food at one of the many local restaurants. We loved Calathea for shopping, and The Goodbean for coffee/pastries and Umi Sushi. Just a short 20 minute scenic drive led us to Red Lily Winery where we had outstanding wine and food by the gorgeous Applegate River. We also enjoyed a fun ride on a Hellgate River Excusions jet boat on the Rogue River in Grants Pass which was only about 35 minutes from Kubli Haus. There is so much to see and do in this thriving community that it will make you want to relocate! Walkability: Kubli Haus is ideally situated just a short stroll (less than five minutes) up the hill to the Britt Festival and its awesome summer concert lineup. Food & drinks: With a stay at Kubli Haus, you can enjoy being within a few short blocks of easy walking to Jacksonville's finest dining establishments. We had top-notch sushi at Umi Sushi on this trip, but have also noshed at Dancing Vineyard's restaurant and Goji's, which both had upscale, delicious offerings.

What a treat to reside in such a beautiful space along with my furry friend this past week! Pet friendly, perfect location, truly comfortable interior and BED along with the most lovely of hosts..Kathleen! A sweet little backyard was perfect for my pooch! The week was made all the more memorable by this amazing house nestled in glorious Jacksonville, OR. KH will be my go to from this point forward!! The perfect stay awaits you! Rooms: Wonderful open concept with amazing bed, great kitchen and beautiful bathroom! Nearby activities: Britt, restaurants, wineries galore, music, shops, walking trails and exercise classes are all at your fingertips! Safety: Was able to walk around Jacksonville easily and without worry given all of the lighted streets. Walkability: Just open the door and the town, trails Britt and restaurants are 5 mins away! Noteworthy details: Kathleen, KHs host was beyond wonderful. She made a special point of visiting with me and making sure all was well. Felt well taken care of throughout the weeks stay.
