        My first contact was at Beaverton Farmers Market. I loved the Jefferson Red early strawberries, they are flavorful and in my view comparable to Hoods. All their strawberries are very good, they also have a few Hoods now as well as Mary's Peak berries. The Jefferson Reds and Mary's Peak berries are not well known but are both very good. The Jefferson Reds are usually the earliest berry, as they were this year. They also have a good selection of lettuce, carrots, asparagus and other vegetables. Later in the summer apples and peaches are available as well as the well known pumpkins in the fall. All the people I have met are friendly and helpful. When I first wrote this Google Maps would not find the correct turnoff from Jefferson Scio Drive. I was able to correct the map and directions did get you to the store. When driving look for the large sign, it is on the driveway to the store
