Hilton Garden Inn Portland/Lake Oswego

The room was pretty nice! Bed was comfortable, it was pretty chill the whole time, the curtains were a little finnicky and working out how to use the shower was too, but aside from those, it was great! Hotel staff were very responsive and nice to talk to!

Housekeeping was very rude. When asked if we could get clean towels for the room. I was told "no" at first I thought she was joking. So I asked again, and was again told more assertively the second time "NO" . She offered no explanation, as to why, or of there was an option for more towels, just "No". The pool area could use a good deep cleaning. At first glance it looks ok, but if you use the pool area, it becomes apparent very quickly, that it only gets a cursory cleaning. I wouldn't recommend this Hilton of you travel with your family.

Was told parking is $2 but charged $20 per day. I feel this should be included. Room was clean and comfortable. Bed bit too firm. I liked that they text asking if things were going well. Great location. Walkability: Close to many restaurants and stores.

Inattentive desk staff, and housekeeping. Left my passport in my room and was not contacted. Now getting the run around and have to wait for the head of housekeeping in the morning. Edit to add: they quickly sent me my passport once located. Thank you! Breakfast staff are superb!!! PS. Changing the water in the fresh floral arrangements helps them last longer and not look disgusting. Elevators are questionable.
