David Cooper Architect

As a General Contractor, I have worked with several architects, until I met David Cooper about 18 years a go. Since our first project, to design and built a custom home, I have never thought about looking for another architect. David has all the experience, the knowledge and willingness to provide ideas, create designs, produce workable plans and even handle the permitting process. His expertise and attention to details produced beautiful and functioning structures that remained within our budget. In all those years we built and remodeled several houses and worked together on many commercial Tenant Improvements. Thank you David for all your guidance (and patience)! Jan and I absolutely love the home that David Cooper designed at Pine Mountain Club. I am a civil engineer and Jan's dad is an architect. We all very much appreciate the structural soundness and how it integrates into a design that is an experience in every direction you view the house inside or out. We entertain a lot and every friend and acquaintance who visits tells us that "it is not a cabin". In our lives we have never lived in any place quite like it. The design is unique. It is obvious that David spent several days observing such nuances such as hourly sun orientation, location of existing trees, views of the forest and creek. His design even resulted in the temperature in the master bedroom to be cooler than the rest of the house, never rising above the low 70's during the hottest days of summer without air conditioning. Actually, after 4 years, we continue getting pleasant surprises. The detail and the thought that went behind the design are very much appreciated. We could not be happier and would highly recommend David Cooper as an architect for any project that a unique, sound and beautiful result is desired.
