Black Magic Asphalt

We had our driveway done by Black Magic Asphalt in Bend, OR! They were great! Good price, good communication and great end result! I cant say enough good things!

Hired Black Magic to add asphalt driveway two Falls ago. They told me to call back in Spring to seal it . Called multiple times in spring and multiple times in summer for the return, each time got voicemail, and left messages, never receiving a return call. This Spring I called again and a real person answered. I explained my problem and why never a callback, she was very apologetic. We made an appointment for Black Magic to return and seal the driveway. A few days before the arranged appointment I attempted phone contact multiple times for a time estimate for their arrival, only voicemail and never a returned callback. Then , on date of the appointment for the work to be done, they no showed, without any call or contact!!!

Very poor phone and email communication, when you speak to Bobbie her husband screams profanity at you in the background if things are not going his way .After bidding a job in person in a 3 min walk around then just a couple weeks later They told me they were not gonna make enough money on this job because asphalt prices went up in the previous month and when I brought up our contract I was cussed out told to find someone else and hung up on. This was an apartment complex that I had already posted notice for 31 cars to be moved day off. These guys are on to their 3rd state that I know off with this company they seem to burn a lot of bridges watch out for this company.

Very crooked company! Alex asked for a credit card just to hold until our company check was processed. He received the check within just a couple of days but also charged the credit card, receiving double pay for the job. He gave every excuse in the book for not refunding the money. He lied about sending a certified check twice. He made arrangements to show up at the business with a check in hand but after several texts and phone calls confirming, he never showed. He's now ghosting us. We were overcharged $5400. The money he stole was on a personal credit card from a manager at the business, not a business credit card, making it even worse. Several times he said he was refunding the money through his system but that never happened. He blocked attempts with lies to dispute the charges as well. Obviously a professional scammer.
