I cant say enough good things about Dr. Dan. I had been struggling with pretty severe neck and shoulder tension for way too long (years) due to a lower back injury which took my active lifestyle from 60 to 0 in an instant - After doing PT and visiting another chiropractor with no relief or progress after months of visits, I sort of gave up figuring this was just life now. I was semi recently recommended Dr. Dan by my acupuncturist when I began seeing her (to see if that would help with my pain/tension) and talking about previous experiences with treatment avenues not helping. I expressed some fear of trying chiropractic work again due to how tense my upper body was at this point and not wanting anyone to move my neck too quick - she said Dan was probably a good fit for me. TWO MILLION PERCENT SPOT ON. Dr. Dan has a very gentle approach, he can do the snap crackle pop that comes to mind with chiropractic work, but his method when I visit seems opposite, but its not, hard to explain - but Im not being bent like a pretzel, having something jerked super quick, or hearing every vertebrae pop. Its very gentle and subtle movements, but after a couple of visits (1x/week) I started to be able to move my neck better, existing didnt hurt so much. After a few visits the range of motion in my neck improved more, my shoulders and upper body tension was beginning to release, and quality of life was vastly improving. Ive now been going about once a week to Dr. Dan for about two months, Im not 100% better but compared to a year plus ago / even a week before my first visit, Im in a whole new place pain and movement wise. I didnt think that was possible due to previous attempts to fix myself. There have recently been moments I realize I have no pain/tension, even for just a hot minute, and Ill take it. Dr. Dan is also very detail oriented / thorough, explains what he is doing, asks permission before doing things, looks at the bigger / all around picture, takes time to listen, is patient I could go on and on. Dr. Dan is an asset to the north coast and I highly recommend his chiropractic expertise.
