Joshua Graner Acupuncture and Pain Rehabilitation

Joshua Graner is the best acupuncturist Ive been to. I love that hes very integrative using different modalities than just traditional acupuncture. Ive been to three chiropractors, an osteopath, physical therapy and a spine clinic. Nothing has helped me more than Joshua.

Joshua is thorough, well educated, passionate and fully engaged in his work. I have received good pain relief and a healthier mental state throughout treatment. He has many healing modalities. He is personable, patient and willing to answer questions. He tailors treatment based on your issues individually. I would recommend that anyone searching for holistic therapies consider Joshua as their provider. 5 stars from me. Thank you Joshua!

I've been a dancer for my entire adult life and so obviously have had my share of injuries. After a nasty shoulder surgery a few years ago I ended up with chronic pain and many overlapping dysfunctions in my shoulder and upper back. I sought out so many doctors, specialists and providers who just couldn't help me regain my normal function. After my PT confirmed that my muscles were locked into a pattern of being overly contracted she recommended sports acupuncture to try and reset that pain-causing pattern. I began seeing Joshua... And everything changed. Joshua was the key. His treatments allowed my dysfunctional muscles to relearn their roles and I found that physical therapy was actually much more effective. At first I would be sore after treatments but I found that 24 hours later I was pain free for the first time in 3 years! After seeing Joshua weekly (or every other week) for 2-3 months I had such a big improvement in my symptoms and I was finally making leaps and bounds in physical therapy. We were able to also work on stretching, stabilizing and strength, as well as discuss ongoing self care and I always felt Joshua was receptive to my questions or need for clarification. He is very professional but also compassionate and relatable, as well as very generous with his knowledge and willing to share from his own athletic experience. I would recommend Joshua to anyone experiencing chronic pain or acute injury, and specifically recommended him to other dancers and athletes who have had a hard time finding providers who understand the unique injuries we face. I will continue to see him anytime I need support for an injury or pain. I am forever grateful to have my life and my shoulders back on track, without pain and stronger than ever before!
