The Oregon Hotel

Basic upkeep leaves much to be desired. Leaky faucets, bare light bulbs (no shades), lamps with no socket available. Breakfast was a mass produced Danish pastry in a plastic bag and coffee - thats it. Food & drinks: Breakfast is not worthy of the term. Food is a few doors down at the Tiger Town Brewery. Great fish and chips! We found breakfast on main road - a quirky experience at Bridge Creek cafe which was also in need of better cleaning practices. Noteworthy details: Although this place is historical, so are some of the cleaning practices. For the price point dont expect any star rating.

We stayed for one night and it was inexpensive so you get what you pay for. We stayed in a king bed room with an ensuite. Keep in mind that the bedroom is not air conditioned and there is a tub with no shower. This is a personal preference, but I will opt to not tub soak unless Ive showered first. Using a water bottle will aid in bathing if you are a shower person. It was convenient to the pub down the street (lunch, dinner) and the Bridge Creek Cafe (good place for breakfast) a short drive away. There is a small grocery store a few businesses down the street.

Inexpensive lodging convenient to nearby eateries. Suite number one had a bathroom but no shower. There was air conditioning in the lobby but no piped directly into the room. Morning coffee and pastries are included.
