Our home buying experience was one of the most mentally anguishing and physically draining experiences. We anticipated a smooth home buying experience based on their award winning homes and customer service. Montevista Homes made it far from that and even tried to terminate our sale based on false company policy enforced by 2 of their sales representatives. These 2 employees set out on a mission to get us to terminate our contract, after our home was delayed due to a construction error which led to water damage to the home. Because we asked questions and asked for protection Montevista Homes decided we were a liability. Montevista Homes slogan is built with you in mind, that cant be further from the truth. It took the pursuit of legal action by me and my family for them to admit they were wrong, but they suffered no consequences for delaying our home for almost 3 months. When is this builder going to be held accountable for their inaction, poor customer service, misinformation and active intimidation tactics? This has to stop. Remember this builder and ask questions if you choose to build with them and dont settle for anything less then what you deserve and expect.
