Painting Project: Interior Painting with 3 different colors for Walls, Ceiling and Trim & Baseboards. When: October 2021 Duration: 1 Week Positives: Chico was our point of contact from start to finish. He came recommended, from Nathan, of Surfaces NW flooring company. Chico was quick to respond and provided us a quote within 1 day. After waiting for two additional quotes, from other Painting Contractors, my wife and I decided to go with Double Diamond Painting because of the value competitive quote and genuine professionalism of Chico. The Painting project started on time as promised and they completed the job 1-day ahead of schedule. Negatives: The only negatives that my wife & I have, though minor, was the attention to the finishing up details. Items such as putting back the correct electrical plates back on wall, wrong door knobs on the wrong door and leaving cigarette butts on the ground in our back yard and front garage. These minor details is what prevented me from giving Double Diamond a five-star rating for this painting project. Overall: All in all, my wife and I are very satisfied on how this Interior painting project turned out, especially the color scheme. There was some "minor bumps" that occurred, but Chico was responsive and corrected any issues immediately. We would recommend Double Diamond Painting and use them again for our future Painting project needs. Service: Interior painting

Jose and crew painted part of my house. I had seen some other work which I thought was pretty good; my house had a lot of peeling paint and maybe they were not the best to hire for that kind of work? The job was so-so. 1. They powerwashed cedar shakes with too-high power, a rookie mistake that shredded the fibers on some of the shakes; I had to replace a couple shakes before they came back to paint.  2. They did a decent job masking and painting (although the paint match is a touch off from the rest of the house).  3. There were numerous areas at the bottom (drip edge) of shakes that were not sealed.  I called Jose.  He came by to look, told me to mark the areas with tape, and he'd be back Monday.  Its been many Mondays, and Jose never came back.  I had to go buy materials (the primer he uses) to complete the job myself.  I know the peeling paint was a challenge, but the lack of follow through after the check was written was disappointing.
