Neal Lane Bridge is also known as the South Myrtle Creek Bridge, and is nestled in the rolling hills of the valley, and has been part of the community for over a century. Built by the county for $1,000 in 1929, although some accounts claim it was built in 1939. It is the most intact of all of Oregon's surviving covered bridges and the only kingpost truss covered bridge in Oregon. It is also one of the shortest covered bridges in the state at 42 ft. Other notable features include a metal roof, cross-wise plank flooring, arched portals, and narrow window openings.
