I've been a return customer for years among many different locations. Most stores have an excellent selection of merchandise however the Newberg location seems to have a little less options. The main reoccurring issue I've come across at this location is the staff. Almost every time I go I get this kind of condescending "know it all" attitude. One example was when I was purchasing chicks for my farm. (Im a 3rd generation farmer btw). I bring my supplies to the cashier asking for some stuff in the back. She informed me they were out of bedding pellets so I asked when they will have more. She glared at me and said "I dont know, probably sometime." then shes overlooking my chicken supplies and proceeds to question me if I know what Im buying and give me unwarranted advice on everything I was buying as if I've never seen a chicken in my life. Asking me if I knew what this or that was. Then she starts telling me how to care for the chicks. I stopped her and said "my family has been farming for the last 100 years." Later that week we decide to pick up one more chicken and the young girl said she can't sell us just one because they need to be in pairs. I had to again explain we had 5 at home. -This is just the similar trend. Always undermining customer knowledge and patronizing us as if we know absolutely nothing about anything. My wife and I actually joke before we go and say "$10 bet that someone will start rattling off their (expertise) again." In addition the warehouse crew has always been very short and somewhat rude, snatching my ticket and silently getting my supplies. We also had a young girl glare at us on a forklift because we pulled around as she was moving pallets. Not to banter on but the general complaint is the staff is very smug. They routinley treat my wife and I like we have no idea what were doing and over advise us on basic products. Its pretty insulting when someones general assumption is you're uneducated. Hope this changes because we might find an alternative supply store vs dealing with difficult staff every time. Again, I don't mean to be negative but this is my honest expirence..
