Safelite in Salem removed the windscreen from my '97 Jeep Wrangler and decided that they couldn't replace the glass because of some surface rust. I had to drive back to Lincoln City with no windscreen. I tried Caliber Collision in Lincoln City but "we don't do rust repair or deal with vehicles over 10 years old". When I called Shipley Auto Body I was told he could do it and that Hummingbird Auto glass from Newport would then replace the glass on site. I dropped the jeep off, and came back the following day to pick it up. It was done, and looks good. I would not hesitate to bring my Jeep back here for further work. Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Larry is thoughtful, knowledgeable, and affordable. I can't imagine going to anyone else for auto body work.

I needed very minor work done, after pulling off a bit of my front bumper when exiting the garage in a 2007 Highlander. Body work is spendy.I thought about doing it myself. So I received a fair bid. When work changed a bit when the owner dug in to start the work, he gave me a range of options. I opted for a well camouflaged easy repair, as the car has 170k miles in it. Work was better than expected . He even touched up another area that needed attention. Excellent service, very good work. Quick. Affordable!
