This company did a horrible job at our home that was in need of water damage around 3 windows, garage casing and new cedar shake siding that would be replaced in areas to match the rest of the home. An inexperienced, unlicensed and uninsured worker was also brought onto our property without us knowing that fact. The owner was the only one that should have been working on our home according to his original CCB number we had listed on our contract. His worker was in fact on my second story roof that very day. Thank goodness he did not get hurt as our lives would have been forever changed. All of the work he did is not to code with felt and Tyvek showing. Shingle height ranging from 2- 6 1/2 and everything in between. All our existing shingles are at 6 in height. Wobbled Walls and shingles not staggered. We have straight lines from one row of shingles to the other allowing water to run right down the side of our house. I was sent information to buy the cedar shake from HomeDepot. He told me to buy bundles red cedar and in fact have East Coast white cedar. We had no idea that he called out for the wrong materials to be purchased. The entire scope of work that he was hired for, is now a complete tear out according to multiple and well established businesses in town. This man used our exposed aggregate driveway to cut wood. He cut a 12 + blade mark deep into our driveway. He was told about this only to have nothing to say about his damage. He also was hired to work at our long term rental property to bring the deck up to code to ensure safety for our renters. We ended up needing to send other contractors to inspect that job site too as we were uncertain if things were done correctly there. Only to find out our actually the deck is still not up to code. We felt we had to check his work this long term rental home because of the work not done correctly at our other property. We now have an exposed house to Coastal weather now that Summer is over. Lying to a CCB field officer about his workers status on our property, did not sit well with me either. Bringing uninsured and unlicensed worker to my home to work, is not ok. If I could give this company zero stars on this page, I would have. Services: General construction, Exterior structural repairs, General repairs
