Kiwanda Coastal Properties

I asked my husband to stop in the parking lot of Kiwanda Coastal Properties so my daughter and I could run out to grab coffee. I was aware the lot was for customers only, but the office was closed and the enormous lot was otherwise empty, so I didn't think it would be a problem. While he was waiting, my husband was approached by a Kiwanda employee, who was incredibly rude and disrespectful from the get-go. She told him he was not allowed to park there and the space was needed for a cleaning crew that was arriving shortly, which was a ridiculous claim given that there were at least a dozen open spots in the lot. My husband explained that his wife and daughter would be returning with coffee shortly, upon which the woman literally started screaming at him (great example for my 8yo son in the back seat!). I would hope that her disrespect was not related in any way to the fact that my husband is Black, but alas after 20 years in an interracial relationship, I know better. She stormed off to the coffee shop, ostensibly to find me... for reasons I cannot fathom. Because she didn't believe my husband? Because she wanted to tell on him? Because she wanted to tell me to hurry up? My daughter saw a woman enter the shop, look at us, then leave. I guess when she saw she'd be dealing with a white woman, she decided to let the matter drop. I am not one to use the "Karen" label lightly, but her behavior certainly fits the bill. If you are a person of color or an ally, I would highly recommend you take your business elsewhere.

We stayed in Beachhouse 123, and we are so happy with it! The house was small but beautiful. The kitchen was perfectly stocked with everything we would need to cook full meals, plenty of plates and coffee mugs, etc. The furnishing was beautiful and felt like a home should. And it was very clean! Walking around barefoot, the tile floors had no sand, as you would expect a beach house to have. Our other option for a pet friendly motel looked barren and quite terrible in comparison to this little house, and it would have cost MORE to stay there. Kiwanda Coastal Properties has a pretty good thing going here. We would definitely like to return and stay again. Thanks!

We had a blast! The house accommodated our family of 5, plus grandparents and uncles very comfortably. We loved being able to get to and from the beach for quick trips throughout the day.

The Singing Sands home is a perfect location for a beach getaway. The house had everything we needed and Kiwanda Coastal Properties was very helpful and responsive.

We loved the Slowdown house, everything was ideal, from the comfy queen bed to the living room and excellent kitchen. The ping pong table downstairs was a blast and our 6 month old Golden Retreiver was an active participant in our games. Thanks for everything Kiwanda Coastal Properties!
