I just moved my Mom into Park Memory Care at Courtyard last week. It started out well during the search. The facility seemed very nice and everyone was helpful. Once I signed the contracts and paid the first months rent, it all changed. I was trying to get information and copies of the contracts and no one would return my phone calls or emails. On the day of move in, I was rushed through signing the service agreements and that was it. We were just left to sit there waiting for the movers to arrive. They did not assist her in acclimating to the facility. No mental or physical check in was done. I was told they did take her vitals later. We took possession of the apartment 10 days prior to move in. Yet her cable was not setup for 2 days. I have been there 4 times over this first week. Her bed is always unmade, her room is not kept up. It is cold only 66 degrees in her apartment. There is a resident that goes into the others apartments and takes their stuff. Then the aides have to find it. When I visited on the weekend after not being there for 2 days, I found her lamp broken. Her clock radio on her nightstand was sitting in a puddle of water that had been spilled. Fortunately she had unplugged everything as well. I do not know when these things happened. I wouldn't mind paying their premium prices if she was receiving premium care but she is NOT. She is not receiving adequate care at all so far. They seem to have excuses for many things, "The phone system is wonky", there are issues with receiving emails due to security, The scanner is not working, etc" I did finally receive a copy of the contracts after emailing the executive director last week with my complaints but have not seen any improvements so far.

My parent has lived in the community for the past 3 years. 2 years at Park (Assisted Living) and 1 year at Pavilion (Memory Care). I would like to clarify that the majority of med techs, caregivers and front desk staff have been wonderful. The leadership, however, has been in a constant state of flux, with Pavillion Memory Care going on its sixth director in just over one year. The egregious turnover has has left my family feeling extremely uneasy about the management of our loved ones care. I have reached out to leadership multiple times in the past year to discuss these frustrations. Unfortunately, its always with a new face, making the same promises as the last. I will update this review if/when meaningful changes occur. Update 10/2023: I met with CMTs Executive Director a couple of weeks ago. She was very open about the challenges she & her team inherited as the old management company departed earlier this year. I appreciated her transparency & her compassion. Im hopeful that this new leadership team is qualified and motivated to resolve the staffing issues and rebuild trust with residents and their families. Moving a loved one into memory care is an incredibly scary and difficult thing to do. Despite my frustrations and uneasiness over the past year, I still believe CMT Pavilion is a good choice for those in need of a local Memory Care facility. Just be aware, they are still working out a few kinks.

Been here for a few weeks. Amazing crew that seems efficient, busy, and at the same time friendly and helpful. Being new, there are lots of questions that are quickly answered. A very clean facility with good meals and lots of activities. The apartments are large enough with enough storage. Well planned complex with nice grounds and walking paths. Though its my first experience, its a good one.
