What an experience. First things first, Travis, the contact we worked with made things right, to a point, but overall this was a trial of patience and tolerance. Had our bathroom and kitchen floor done with Marnoleum. The project manager came out, sized up the job and gave us a quote. We liked the cut of his jib and made us feel confident. Day of job the installer comes by. Can't remember his name, but yeah, confidence was not instilled in this owner. I don't have any issue with smokers, but this dude took smoke break after smoke break. He took one day to lay the plywood and "leveled" out some spots. The next day he put down the flooring. Issues were apparent the moment we had a chance to see the job's completion. Floor wasn't adhering in areas, angles were all wrong making everything look out of square. The thresholds he installed were metal, when we asked for wood. They had sharp edges on them so you would need to wear shoes in your house at all times or risk a lacerated foot. And the mitre? OMG it looked horrible. To say the least this man couldn't care less. We called Travis and stated we would not be closing our account balance until issues are fixed. Great, he was understanding and wanted to make it right. So they send the same installer out. He makes excuses like "the team gave me the wrong threshold" for the reason the mitre came out wrong. So he ripped up the old one, made a couple cuts to get his initial runs of flooring square, and puts down a new threshold. Low and behold he messes that up too. Mitre isn't a 90 degree corner its more a 100 degree. And now the flooring is even more out of square to our cabinetry. So we call Travis again and ask for this to be fixed. He understands and again plans on making it right. But in order to do that he wants to send his project manager out again and that would be a couple of weeks because he is out sick. Cool, willing to wait because we need this done right. Flash forward a week and half or so and the project manager comes and immediately sees the issues and assures us he has the man for the job. Which he did. Mike came out the following day and fixed the issue we asked to be fixed. Is the flooring perfect? No, there are still issues and flooring still doesn't adhere well in certain areas. The cuts where two pieces of flooring meet bubble. But I will fix these issues myself. The account is settled and I don't want anything to do with Floor Factors again. Would not recommend. They get 2 stars for being open to fixing the mistakes of their employee, but yeah, the craftsmanship was poor and when you pay for people to do their job, you expect it to be done right. I think my biggest issue is the craftsmen. If you run into a hiccup or a part of the house that you feel needs to be talked about, reach out to the owner to discuss that issue. Don't just go rogue and do what you think is right because the owner might want something different. This issue showed its ugly head multiple times in the original installers work and we are now faced with DIYing the fixes. Floor Factors if you read this. Thanks for the effort, but I am not interested in talking any further about the issues.

Justin Tyler did a great job laying the floor in our laundry area. He even gave us suggestions that we liked even better than what we had thought. He was kind, courteous and put up with our barking dog.

Floor Factors will go above and beyond to make their customer satisfied. Our carpet was being a bit unruly to install. The owner came out the next day personally to make sure that no details were missed. We will be coming back for all our high end carpet needs.
