        Every provider at NW Injury Care is amazing. I first went there for physical therapy and treatment after being rear-ended. From physical therapy to massage to chiropractic treatments, the providers all listen to me and truly look for the causes of issues improving my strength and mobility. I always have immediate results and relief, but it's the long-term improvement that has me recommending them to anyone I know who is suffering.

        Sally is FANTASTIC and is such a warm massage therapist. I see Dr. Jan for Chiropractic care and she is also absolutely amazing. I need regular care to keep some issues working, and this place does it all. Highly recommend to any and everyone!

        From the minute you walk into the NW Injury Care center, you feel cared for. Savannah at the front desk glows with energy and kindness. She's efficient and very helpful! I see Shawn Cooney the physical therapist (PT) for a chronic back issue. Years ago, I spent thousands of dollars getting medical treatment for knee pain. Nothing helped. I heard about Shawn from a neighbor. Within 30 minutes of seeing Shawn, he informed me that it wasn't my knee but a pelvic alignment issue. With very focused pelvic exercises, the knee pain went away immediately. I was empowered to care for myself. That's his approach. He's an amazing listener and gets to the root of the issue fairly quickly. Then he educates you on how to care for yourself. It's not a cookie cutter approach. It's individualized and fits my priorities and lifestyle. He is the perfect coach in that regard. In addition to all this, he is a really, really nice person. I highly recommend him!!!

      Welcome to PDX Bodyworks Physical Therapy in Portland, OR. Our mission is to create a higher level of wellness for the people in our community by helping them conquer acute and chronic injuries through manual physical therapy. We provide patient education on the importance of pacing and graded exposure to activity, on increasing tissue tolerance and on appropriate activity modification, based on patients awareness of their own body’s feedback. We utilize hands-on manual therapy techniques to address the cause of lingering joint and muscular dysfunction, to remove barriers such as pain, stiffness, poor posture, or old movement habits that no longer serve folks' wellbeing.
