Stayed here last month for a night and for motel standards it was wonderful. Rooms were clean and felt cozy, motel vibe was lowkey and all staff were friendly. Everything was great. I unfortunately left a video game console at their motel and living in a different state, the front desk person assured me they would check and were able to locate it for me before another person checked in. They utilized an easy service that had it shipped back to me with care. That means a lot to me for them to do that for me and the cherry on the top was an included hand written note thanking me for their patience. That was so sweet and really shows that I picked a great place to stay.

Great place to stay for those having to travel a long way for an OHSU appt. The ADA room is very spacious and wheelchair friendly. Beds were comfortable and the room was very clean. Staff members were very nice, too.

Old-style motel and it definitely shows! This is the second time weve stayed there for a VA visit but it will be the last. I dont think the housekeepers know how to clean. While there were clean white sheets and towels, there were greasy fingerprints on the tables, some sticky substance on the vanity sink top and tge TV remote, mold around the bathtub, makeup or something similar smeared on the entry door just above the handle, and stains on the lampshades and chair seats. The overhead light had no cover, just bare bulbs, one lamp didnt work, and there were visible cracks in the walls as well as obviously old plugins and switchs with layers of paint on them. To top it all off, my husband is a disabled veteran and we both have trouble with stairs so they put us in the top floor up a steep flight of outdoor concrete stairs. When we asked to move, we were told there was nothing else available unless we wanted to walk all the way around to the back of the motel, even though the motel had just four cars in front. Ill feel lucky if we arent eaten bugs tonight when the lights go out. The one saving grace is that it is close to the VA hospital. But I would drive from Vancouver rather than stay at this place again. Rooms: All rooms open to the outside. Rooms are dated and in need of repair. Walkability: Sidewalks, but half block off very busy street Food & drinks: Nothing close by except a drive-through Mexican restaurant, a 7-11 and a tiny Thai place. We had to drive over I-5 to find a sit-down place to have dinner. There youll find several restaurants and pubs, a couple miles away. Noteworthy details: Close to the VA medical center and OHSU.
