I am in my 5th year as an insurance agent and financial representative here. Let me tell you, it hasn't been easy. The first couple years you really need to put your head down and work hard! But hard work pays off. From needing to borrow money from family to pay my bills my first month starting here, to now owning two homes and living comfortably, it's been quite the journey. Commission based jobs require that you be your own boss. You no longer trade your time for dollars. You trade effort for outcomes. It takes some getting used to, but I believe it can be a life changing career choice, so long as you believe in yourself.
