Went in Thursday to have acrylic nails removed, which were a hybrid gel set. Lady proceeded to pry the false nails off instead of soaking them off, causing massive thinning of my nail plate and therefore instability of the nail and pain when using my fingertips.

Got a Mani and pedi here. First time getting those procedures so forgive my ignorance. Pedicure seemed good. Manicure seemed to go a bit sideways. Not sure why there was so much bleeding. No acknowledgement of this fact besides handing me little pieces of gauze. I'd have imagined a different approach would be taken after the first cuticle bleed, but it continued across most of my fingers.

Great location, good number of staff. They were not very polite though, after I confirmed that I just wanted a basic manicure and declined gel or shellac. The manicurist drew blood from my thumb, and they just dabbed at it with a piece of paper towel that later fluttered to the floor. They left my nails to dry under a fan and the manicurist never came back, so after a while I got up and left and no one said anything. My nails looked okay, but it was an interesting experience and I dont think Id return.
