Honestly, there was a great view from our room. The price for the location was more than fair. The gentleman who checked us in gave us great conversation and lots of information for local stuff to keep us busy... rooms were a bit retro but had a decent nights sleep, and the kitchenette was stocked! Great little retreat spot.

The turn is a bit hidden to get in. It's just over the train tracks. The front desk people we experienced on both checking in and out we were best described as not wanting to be bothered. We rented the 2 room suite with ocean view and fireplace. They thought of things we hadn't seen before in a hotel: laundry, basket, toster, dishwasher pods as well, as dish soap. The linens were clean, and the maid service had really done a great job. Now, this hotel reminds me of staying with an older auntie. The things aren't really broken all the way but more off slightly. It's older and the years are showing. Our view of the ocean was slight being a row back and the power lines in the way a bit. Rooms: The furniture is older and getting worn out. The couch had divots from years of use. The beds were stiff. There was a light switch with sharply on it saying dont turn off. Not to nit pick anymore, but be aware you will see quite a few things like this. They were clean well . Nearby activities: A short drive to the activities other than the beach. Walkability: Can walk between 2 of the buildings and down a steep set of ify stairs access the beach.
