My aunt and uncle have been residents of The Springs at Willowcreek for just about a year. She was in memory care, while he was next door in assisted living. The staff at both locations is amazing, treating my family as part of their own. Memory care is no joke - it's challenging to work with dementia and memory challenged residents, and the staff would often be found just sitting with an anxious resident, keeping them company. My aunt passed this month, and the employees not only offered us every physical comfort they could, they also cried and prayed with us and for us during the last weeks. My uncle wanted to spend the night with her, and they made him comfortable and kept watch over them both through what ended up being her last night. Now, the staff at my uncle's building are doting on him and making sure he knows he's not alone. I won't pretend that everything is perfect, sunshine and rainbows, in any assisted living or memory care situation. If you can visit and advocate for your loved one when they're in any facility, of course that's best. Any concerns I had, I shared with the management, and they were addressed right away and to my satisfaction. They made recommendations for my aunt's care (better shoes, for example, that had good tread and room for her toes to spread out a bit rather than being squished together - who knew she'd end up loving Crocs?) which were always a big help to us. I could go on and on, about the activities they provide and how good the food always looks and smells, and how sweet the residents all are... but I think I've left a long enough review.

Day Shift employees manage their patients by keeping them drugged up. Patients are wide awake at night when there is only 1 person on staff. Day shift and evening shift employees spend more time on their phones then tending to the patients, cleaning or doing laundry duties. They leave it all for the night shift personnel. Also poor Peri care and patient hygiene. New hires are poorly trained. They change patients and will leave them in their wet clothes. Please spend more time visiting the facility if you have a family member there. Night shift workers are very kind and actually care about the patients. However, there is only so much one person can do. Prayers for the well being of all the once hard working people who now experience hell before they pass at this facility. Unfortunately, my mother is there due to POA priorities.

Hello Dollar Bill, We are troubled by your review and 1-star rating, as our residents' well-being is our top priority. We don't keep anyone "drugged up" and always work closely with families, staff, and medical professionals to ensure the highest quality of care, respect, and dignity for everyone we serve. We treat each resident as family and look to make things right when we fall short. Please contact us directly so we can discuss some of your observations and claims in greater detail. Thank you for your time and thank you for your review.
