Absolutely outstanding experience. My two girls, age 11&12, were part of a group kayaking excursion on the Willamette, lead by Shannon. The group ranged in age from 7-17, and from "kayaked once or twice" to "never been in a kayak in my life". She began on shore with making sure the provided life vests were snug and properly fit, and then explained how to hold and handle the paddles. She then showed them individually how to get into their kayak, and then gauged their comfort and competency with an individual mini lesson, with practice time. Once everyone was on the water, she took small groups across a small current to get them used to the feel. Then the whole group went for a tour upstream to to a shallow pebble bar. All the girls had an amazing time and talked about the experience for hours after. Shannon was patient and professional with the girls, and so prepared - not only with the kayaks and life vests, but she even had fresh water and snacks available for the girls too. Highly recommend Shannon, and look forward to working with her again in the future!

Ok place to rent from, but not exactly the most energetic or enthusiastic staff.

Very friendly owner. I would highly recommend this place to rent a kayak.
