We contacted Safford about a year ago to help us with a 1031 exchange on a rental property we owned. He was a great communicator and dedicated to helping us accomplish our goals. It was very complicated in the competitive market at the time to put a deal together especially with the contingencies we needed. Because of some health problems that came up we decided not to pursue the exchange. Any future Real Estate needs we have we will not hesitate to call on Safford!

Our family has moved a lot around the country. So we have crossed paths with lots of agents. There have been well meaning but ill informed ones, ones who couldn't be on time if Big Ben was their timepiece, ones who couldn't remember both of our names, many who thought we should buy the house they advised us to buy regardless of cost, ones who never returned calls and an SUV full of ones who played fast and loose with ethical issues.
Safford Carpenter was none of these. Safford's greatest gift to his clients is his ability to listen to them. He recognized that we were sad to leave our home and told us that no matter how long it took we would find a house that would bring new features into our lives and new opportunities and ways to live within the walls of an initially unfamiliar home. Safford answered unending questions, soothing our concerns on so many fronts. We were doing what many of our generation are doing now. Downsizing. Sounds scary. And it is. Forces you to make choices and accept limitations but also allows you to see your future more clearly.
We found a house; a very different house. A house that, for us at 76, has proved a challenge in some ways but in other ways is a bright and shiny, multi-windowed, safe space to see what is coming next.
Our beloved home took some hard work to find its perfect match. Safford weathered "lookie loos", hollow offers and the vagaries of the marketplace. But it happened. We have his wonderful sales materials that were prepared for buyers, where our house never looked better. The video, the terrific tri-fold that looks like a photo love letter to our 100 year old home, will always remind us
of those years.
No matter the temperature of the market you will always be prepared for what is coming if you partner with this wise young man in any real estate needs you might have.

I just want to start off by saying I almost never leave a 5 star review for anything, but Safford Carpenter our Relator exceeded my expectations in everyway.
He listened to us and worked with us every step of the way. When we wanted to look at open houses on our own, he sent us lists of open houses that met our criteria. When we wanted to view listings that didn't have open houses, he made time around our schedules to show us the houses.
When it came time to make a offer he was able to inform us of local market conditions and coached us on creating an offer that would get accepted without overpaying.
Safford did not stop once the offer was accepted. His excellent service continued as his network of professional contacts extended beyond mortgage brokers, but to home inspectors and building contractors as well, helping us to resolve issues with the contingencies and close escrow on time!
Even after taking possession of the house, we have been impressed with his assistance with our home warranty and moving advice.
In conclusion, I would not hesitate to recommend Safford to anyone. He was professional, skilled, and constantly available via text, phone and email. We could not be more pleased.
