This is an absolutely wonderful church. The people are warm and friendly. We were visiting and they insisted that we get in the front of the line for the potluck meal after church. The young pastor is great. Like his sermons a great deal.

This church is one mega building that I noticed most of the time sits empty other than the Saturdays when they actually have church, are the days that they're doing yard care or building maintenance. WHERE IS THE COMMUNITY OUTREACH? WHERE ARE THE BLOOD DRIVES IN THE HUGE PARKING LOT? WHERE ARE THE FOOD DRIVES, WHERE IS THE FOOD PANTRY / CLOTHING CLOSET? I know they have a free dental clinic each year which is amazing for this community, and they do have the kids clothing swap, but where is the community outreach all I see is a gigantic amazing building that is extremely underutilized! In the past I was a part of an Adventist Church for years where we did community outreach with our children and found elderly people that could no longer care for their yards that needed help so we would volunteer our time to go clean up their yard, we would sit outside the grocery stores asking for food donations we had a place for people to drive up to our church to donate food for our food pantry, or drop off clothing for our clothing closet. It seems very unfortunate to me that there is not a bigger broader use for such an enormous Church. Our church was extremely old and very small, it was also a private school. Our church / school would have given so much to have what they have now. It would be amazing to see this church and this Church's name in the community much more than it currently is. The need in this community is now, this would be a great location for the Red Cross to do blood drives? It'd be an excellent drop off spot for food and clothing. Come on Adventist Church, you can do better than this!
