        Halloween can be scary so can shopping for insurance. Comparing insurance company quotes is a big project. We got quotes for home, auto, RV, rental, business, umbrella, earthquake, and flood from 6 companies. Comparing apples-to-apples is tricky. Bundling insurance can provide discounts, but while several companies are competitive, they either dont offer every line of insurance or are very high in some categories. Our search resulted in a clear overall best choice: Farmers Insurance, agent Christi Schmidt. Having been referred by a friend, Christi has covered our rental house for 7 years. We had one claim and the coverage was excellent. Farmers rates are very good across all lines of insurance. She and her wonderfully knowledgeable and friendly staff are Mayberry-nice. They simplified the process and never seemed to tire of my questions. A big thanks to Christi, Blair and Julie, who made the process easier and full coverage much more affordable.
