Road up was nicer than expected, we had lunch there. The falls area had a bit more human sign than tend to enjoy.

This is an incredible gem. We had the whole place to ourselves. It's bigger than it looks in pictures. The water is just deep enough to enjoy, but shallow enough that my 8 year old could wade anywhere himself. We spent all day hiking, playing, swimming. It's a little rough climbing down, but there's a sturdy metal pole at the top of the path, meant to tie a rope to and give you a safer climb. Bring a rope if you're not 8 or athletic. Playground: There's no playground. It's just nature. Restrooms: There are no restrooms. It's just nature. Dog-friendliness: Maybe bring a leash in case anyone else happens to be there? Otherwise, just pack out the poo, and preserve this unique space. Picnic area: Bring a blanket. There's a great little alcove for a private picnic or romantic rendezvous.

Long drive, but the road is paved all the way and there is no hike to the falls

Beautiful, easy to find. Difficult for those with disabilities to get to water
