Was planning to backpack into clear Creek, ended up camping at Briggs Creek and doing a day hike out and back. Very gorgeous flowers were popping up everywhere mid-April. Hike is a little bit melancholy because of all the forestry being burned down. The occasional dogwood popping up with bright white flowers was a welcoming site. Quite a bit of poison oak, but we were there when siskiyou mountain club was clearing the trail and they removed a bunch of poison oak at the beginning which is great. Sequoia love the hike and carried all of our stuff, she was a champ the whole way Restrooms: Outhouse style restroom from the Forest service was in good condition

Fairly simple hiking trail, goes right through an old forest fire area so bring your sunscreen!
