        Pleasant and informative tour yesterday hosted by Michael. Very clean and well organized with impressive amenities. Main dining area is broken into smaller areas and doesnt have an institutional mess hall feel.

        Last year in November I moved a family member into The Ackerly. The facility is well maintained and easy to get around and provides a number of different spaces for social activities, interaction and entertainment. Some extras include a staffed bistro, onsite physical therapy, a gym, and a salon. Overall the staff is great. I don't want to mention people by name because there are many and I wouldn't want to leave anyone out but here are the teams that I most encountered: the sales staff are professional, knowledgeable and personable and make moving in seamless; the front staff are friendly, responsive and helpful; the caregivers and housekeepers are attentive; the bistro staff are fun and engaging; and the kitchen staff provide a variety of good tasting meals. It's a warm, welcoming place if you are looking for a senior facility in Sherwood.
