This is a fantastic hotel for what it is. It's old enough to have some character (fire sprinkler pipes below the ceiling, real paintings hanging on the walls) but still recently remodeled and well maintained. I like that the mattress was firm and our room had a real kitchenette. The restaurant and lounge looks fantastic but we were there in the off season so it was closed on Sundays. Guess we'll have to go back, haha! Nearby activities: It's at the end of the main drag, so if it's in Silverton it's walking distance from this hotel.

Internet does not work, even after changing rooms. Had to go to Starbucks or the library to get onto my computer. TV is a joke! Can not get any local or national LIVE tv. All available channels (without having a Pluto TV account) are just previous program loops. ABC, CBS, NBS are only news programs that repeat over and over and over. [You only need to watching CBS Sunday Morning, or Meet the Press once, but service will show it over and over and over.] Nothing local and nothing live. Want to watch football? go to a bar. Want to watch something other that news or program re-runs? Go to a different hotel. Website is very deceiving, no real information that only 2-3 rooms have kitchens. No kitchenettes and many refrigerators are dorm sized. Room size also not well informed. Best thing about this place it is right downtown so you can walk to the restaurants and shops. For more than 3-4 days go somewhere else.
