        Beautiful place to hike, and this parking lot is usually less busy than the main one even though it can fill up very quickly on busy days. It does cost five dollars to park here and its cash only, the machine does not give change. Hopefully they change that soon.

        The parking lot is small and was full when we were there January 1st, which was a free day. There is parking on the side of the road up the hill.

        The parking meter is cash only and there is very little parking. There might be 30 spots, all told. We arrived when there were only two other vehicles in the lot. Within 30 minutes, the lot only had 4 or 5 spots left. The public restroom is an outhouse style.
