This place has an outstanding view and I love that this shelter is maintained as well as it is. There is an awesome community of people that visit here and restock wood and emergency food items for the shelter. Who comes up next, bring 4 new 12 bungee cords for the curtain!

Strenuous walk there but worth it. Back egg.

Most of the fire road entrances are blocked, I went up 6-9-22 and cleared a path if you take the farthest out entrance. Had to winch several downed trees and cut back some branches to make a clear road. Once you make it out there it is incredible and an amazing spot to hangout or take shelter. Tons of huge ants around the cabin right now so watch your gear if you set it down. Would definitely recommend if you have a 4x4 vehicle with decent clearance for rocks.
