Good location. Super clean. Plenty of room well appointed. Our bed sagged to the center. Good value. You can see the ocean through the trees if its not cloudy. We would definitely stay here again

Have stayed here twice. The view is amazing. It is up on a cliff so there is no beach access from this unit. The unit really could use w/some upgrades but meets the basic needs. Parking is tight for a large suv but I have a small Mazda and had no problems. My biggest complaint is -- for two years in a row the screen door on the patio needs to be replaced. Can't leave the door open because the screen flaps in the wind. Bought some duct tape & taped it while we were there. From one yr to the next the kitchen utensils and other things seem to be less so a run to Walmart might be necessary. Love the view -- maintenance to the unit not so much.

The best thing about this place is the view. It's a quaint, somewhat "rustic" duplex that's available to rent through VRBO. The listing says it sleeps 4, but the bedrooms have double beds, so two per bed would be mighty snug. For 2 guests it's plenty big. It's not far from Hwy 101 and previous guests have complained about road noise when the windows are open, but it didn't really bother me. The north facing bedroom window could use a screen. It has a lovely deck that overlooks the beach, but there is no local beach access. The property next door has a stairway to the beach, but it's locked down. It doesn't appear to have cable set up, but why in the heck are you watching TV here anyway? The wireless connection is kind of spotty at times, but seems OK for netflix. The parking spot is extremely tight, so watch out. Also, beware that the cliff face has no fence, so don't go stumbling out there in the dark after a few ti martoonies. It's a 15 minute drive from Newport restaurants and shops.
