Viking Landscape and Design

Matt and his team did an entire backyard redesign for us in 3 weeks. Including putting in new drainage to fix our winter flooding issues. Also built a fenced area with raised garden beds, a flagstone path and several wonderful dry creek bed areas. Matt was very knowledgeable and had great ideas for the design. His team is a great group of guys that work their hardest everyday. I would definitely use VIking Landscape & Design again. I hope no one falls for this guys fake interest! He led me on for 3 months, using one excuse after another for not starting the job. First of all he said his office manager was out and he was stuck doing her job also. Then he had truck problems. Then it was the weather, which was the only thing I understood. He kept giving me start dates and they never happened and then quoted me over $11,000 to build a very short walkway and steps leading to my front door. Im disabled and havent had a front entry point to my house for 4 months and I kept believing his lies! He said he has years and years of experience but then used the excuse that hes only been in business for himself for 3 years so is just learning how to schedule. Dont use him unless you have money to burn and want to wait for a ridiculous amount of time to get any work done!

I used another company to design and build a waterfall. I then used Viking to fix this waterfall. When I contacted Matt I was sorry ever did this project; I had leaks and the overall design was just poor. So I got 3 quotes: One was slightly less than Viking and the 3rd was over double what Viking quoted. Matt and his crew did a beautiful job. They did the entire job in a week when I was expecting this to take at least 2. I wish I had known about Matt 3 years ago. But now that I know about them I will use them for anything I need. Brian, Josh and their crew were amazing! Great to work with. They designed and created an amazing putting green w sand bunker and lighting. It far surpassed our expectations. They are patient, creative, meticulous and well worth every penny! We had them lay sod, clean out and mulch the beds but they did a beautiful job with our landscaping as well. We are looking forward to them maintaining our landscaping throughout the year. Thanks guys, it was a pleasure.
