Showed up on time and repaired my front door which was totally out of plumb and so was the wall. Somehow Jorge managed to fix it. He reattached trim, and caulked. It's like a new door. Took him six hours. They don't do painting, but I already knew that. Jorge also caulked a leaking skylight and included it in the original bid. Anderson is a little high on price, but you get what you pay for. I couldn't be happier with the quality of their work. Also.......Jorge is a nice guy. Be sure to ask for him.

I hired Anderson Door and Window Mechanics over 25 years ago to help me turn a pocket door into a swinging one. When I needed help with 3 of our doors in a 1910 historic home, I was thrilled that they were still in business! Robert, one of their skilled craftsmen, just finished making two French doors open and close with ease and another single door latch tightly. What a pleasure it is to have doors that open and shut correctly! Next time, I won't let 25 years pass before I hire the Anderson Door and Window Mechanics team again.

Excellent service! I own a condo in downtown Portland - in one of the first highrise building constructed back in the 60s. As such, this building has some very finicky tilt and turn windows manufactured by a company in Canada. Its very difficult to get anyone to work on them - or get hardware to fix them. I called Pamela Mae in a panic because I live on the 21st floor and the handle on my window failed leaving me unable to close my window. Pamela got a technician out as soon as possible with a temporary handle to close the window, and then ordered the parts. As part of our conversation, she let me know they were ordering extra parts to have on hand for these older buildings. She also was able to get me one of the special tools they used so I can have it in my kit in the event of another emergency. The technicians who came twice - to temporarily close the window, and then to repair it - were awesome. They arrived when they said they would, were polite and quick! Im very pleased with my experience. Excellent customer service and a caring staff!
