Big thumbs up for the heroes that work at this facility. The hospital and emergency room staff are one awesome group of people among many. I gave them 10 out of 10 score on everything from being patient with me while I am in a panic over my dogs condition and giving a calm response and a caring hand to both me and my pet. I wanted to euthanize my old dog because of what I thought was a hopeless situation and without spending too much money I was able to keep him with me a little longer thanks to The great staff. I was quoted $95 plus minimal fee and had to wait three hours but ended up waiting six hours before I ended up leaving my pet with them overnight. The next morning I picked up my happy pet with minimal extra charges decide what I had approved total cost $175 including meds and overnight care. I was totally surprised to receive an hourly log sheet on the great care that they gave my little buddy Wilson the Westie , thank you sooooooo much 🙋🏼‍♂️

Our vet called this clinic and sent records for an emergency visit (our regular vet couldn’t see our dog on such short notice)- our vet told us “they have your records, they can see you”. We called the emergency vet clinic in Tualatin and told them we were on our way. The lady says “we are at capacity, we can’t see your pet”. Weird right? We called our regular vet back and they said- huh, strange, we just got off the phone with them and they can see your dog. I called emergency vet BACK and nicely explained the situation- maybe when you said you were “at capacity” you overlooked our records. The lady then, asks “well, do you have a referral”- I’m not sure of her technical definition of “referral” so I again explain the situation- our vet sent our pets records to you electronically and you confirmed with them that we can be seen. Pretty straightforward, one would think. But oh no, nurse gatekeeper MUST follow some protocol that only exists in her own mind and demands that I answer the question “Do you have a referral” with a straight yes or no. OK then, I say, “yes”, Then puts me on hold, comes back and says we can see you but it will be an 8 to 10 hour wait(?!??!!!). This was not what our vet told us. Incredibly unprofessional. Her tone was dripping with passive aggression as she told me this. Hey, I know you guys are busy- I get it- this is customer service 101 though. Maybe before telling someone that you are “at capacity” (which you aren’t) check to see if the caller is one of the people included in that calculation- ie “we are at capacity for walk ins, but your vet called, we have your records, and you are on the schedule- come on in”- Basic phone skills, basic customer service skills!!!!!

Back in January 2020 we adopted our dog Finn. A day later he was sick with double pneumonia and our vet recommended hospitalization. EVOT was recommended to us so we took Finn here. They saved his life. Nearly two years later we are forever indebted to him because we love our little Finn. Our other dog Max also had an emergency with a tooth abscess and they took great care of him. I highly recommend them to any pet owner needing emergency care.

I can’t thank this emergency vet office enough. After calling various places they got my baby right in after having to drive 1.5 hours .The technicians and Veterinarians were awesome. And helped me trust them with Buddy. I felt secure leaving him in their hands, even though I was a nervous wreck. I can’t thank you enough for helping us get my baby stable. I appreciate you all! They were so professional and honest.

I spent 7 hrs waiting to be seen at emergency veterinary clinic of tualitin. I sat for 7 hrs in the heat watching owners dropping off and picking up their pets. I finally left after being told that there were still two dogs ahead of me. I do not know if they ever would have seen my dog. When I asked for a approximate time the woman said she could not tell me it was a HIPAA violation. I was not asking for diagnosis I was asking if they planned to see my dog. If they are not going to see your pet they should tell you. Do not go to emergency veterinary clinic of tualitin. you and your pet do not matter. Your pet will die waiting to be seen.
