As a sub-contractor we preformed work for this company and have not been paid for over 50 days as of this review and we have finally filed for a lien on the property that we worked on. However it is not right for us to have to file on a customer who has MADE IT CLEAR that she has paid her bill to stop restoration for over 30K and STOP restoration still refuses to pay their sub-contractor. There has been many forms of us trying to be paid. even offer to put stop restoration on a payment plan to pay their outstanding invoice with us. This review SHALL be updated upon payment.

Craftsmanship of the tile artisans was creative and beautiful. All the crew were polite and friendly and listening to concerns. The company's communication needs to improve. Plumbing was a problem until they hired a good plumbing company. I would use them again.

Before making repairs, this company requires the homeowner to sign a broadly worded contract. Then, they inflate the repair bill and overcharge the homeowners insurer. This company does this routinely, it is their standard operating procedure. They inflate the amounts of materials and/or costs of materials that they actually used during jobs. They intentionally run extra equipment at job sites in order to increase the costs that they pass on to insurance companies and consumers. They pay at least one individual to find potential jobs through a police scanner for a commission. This company should be investigated for insurance fraud. It is companies like this that pass costs onto consumers while they defraud insurance companies. If you are looking for a trustworthy restoration company that won't rip you off, then look elsewhere. I've been told that they a service called Scorpion Ranking to artificially increase their search engine visibility. Employees (or former employees) such as Nick, Cassie, and Cory were helpful in providing information about STOP. This company works out of Tigard on Cipole Road and should be avoided.

Stop Restoration took very good care of our family during our experience with them and the painting of our home. Before STOP became involved we had been working with our insurance for almost 10 months trying to repair the damage from our kitchen dishwasher. Once STOP Restoration stepped in the process shifted into full speed. The team all came out to the house to evaluate how they could best help us and get us back up into our normal home life ASAP. The appointments and surveys of the damage were managed very professionally. They worked around our crazy family schedules to make our appointments possible. We had new floors installed by a family friend and they came the following day to paint the trim and walls. The painting crew was extremely prompt and respectful of our home and our pets. We were unable to move out during the time of the restoration but they were so kind and patient as they work around our few pieces of furniture we had to leave in the great room and den. The communication was open and clear. They worked well with my insurance and were able to answer almost all of my questions regarding the details of the events. I highly recommend them. Everything was beautiful and completed just in time for Santa to visit. Thank you very much Stop Restoration
