        Nice little park for day use. It will cost you $5 for a day use permit. We went rock hounding here because it is one of the few places that has public access to the Nahalem River. There is a ok gravel bar to check out at the north end of the day use area. They have a play structure, small climbing wall and some swings for the kids. Pit toilets are available and close to the day use area. Playground: A small play structure some swings and a small climbing wall. Restrooms: Clean pit toilets

        There is absolutely few other places close to the city yet quiet and lovely. It has been one of my favourite places for a quick easy place to camp. Even closer is the State Park but the water feature here makes this one the best.
