Ann Marie has been the absolute best person to work with this past year while planning our wedding. We were fortunate enough to have been behind her magic lens four times in the last year, and each time its been like working with a friend (whos crazy talented). My husband has never been one to smile in photos, and our families all comment how hes genuinely smiling from ear to ear in our photos. Ann Marie made it a fun and truly enjoyable experience. The photos speak for themselves- shes incredible at scouting locations and capturing the colors and details. Her editing style is timeless and perfect for highlighting the PNW (and beyond). Ann Marie was hands down the most valuable vendor of our wedding. The amount of energy and help she provided is beyond words. The stress during the planning-period was substantially minimized because Ann Marie was always there to answer questions, provide referrals/contact vendors, and meet in person and on Zoom to go over basically everything. On the day of our wedding, she was like a hawk seeing everything that needed to be captured but in a super tactful way to the point that at times we had no idea she was photographing certain moments (that we will treasure forever). Our wedding party has nothing but positive things to say about how Ann Marie was able to direct us through the day. We reached out to Ann Marie to take our engagement and wedding photos, but she went above and beyond. First she offered to take photos of us at our venue when we toured it with her in July to use on our save the dates. Then we had our actual engagement session in October which she provided a ton of photos back in less than a day. Third we lucked out and were able to do a fun styled shoot with her on the coast in January (unrelated to our engagement/wedding). Fourth and finally we had our wedding in June! Each and every experience was amazing and gave us phenomenal photos in a variety of landscapes. We will be returning to Ann Marie for all future photos! Thank you SO much for everything!!! You are a gem of a human and the best at what you do.

My wife and I had a great experience working with Ann Marie/Myrtle Creative Co. for our wedding photography, and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a professional photographer. We worked with Ann Marie over the course of about 6 months, and from the time of our first outreach/call, to the day of our wedding, she was consistently amazing to work with. Not only did we get regular check-ins and timely responses to questions, we were kept on-track with reminders and worksheets, and were even given recommendations on other (unrelated) wedding vendors. Throughout it all, Ann Marie was so personable; she remembers details and is just such a great person who goes above and beyond in serving her clients. This really shone through on the day of our wedding itself, which (as most weddings do) did not strictly adhere to its original timeline. Rather than freaking out, Ann Marie not only kept calm but made sure we felt calm and not rushed, and she was doing things to be helpful that were totally outside the scope of her responsibilities (e.g., getting flowers for people, tracking down our day-of coordinator, etc.) to make our day go smoothly. Lastly, and most importantly, the photographs themselves were stunning. We could not be happier with the end result, and this alone would be reason enough for us to recommend Myrtle Creative Co. But everything else was a HUGE cherry on top. TL:DR - Exceeds expectations! ;)

My fianc and I won Ann Maries raffle prize from The Portland Venue Crawl: a free engagement shoot! We feel so incredibly lucky and grateful to have gotten to work with her. She was so helpful with choosing a location and braved every possible weather pattern the Oregon coast could throw at us in an hour! Which of course made for AMAZING photos! We were pretty nervous and she immediately made us feel comfortable and we had a great evening laughing and celebrating. She sent us some previews the very next day which was such a treat and made us even more excited for the full album. We got the full album this morning and are absolutely dying over how wonderful every single photo is. Were so thankful to have been able to work with Ann Marie and will be recommending her to any and everyone we can!

Ann Marie was the photographer for our wedding in November and we couldn't be happier with her service and photos! She was the biggest rock on our wedding day and was our most helpful and important vendor. From the time she got there I felt like I didn't have to worry about a thing. The thorough pre-planning she did allowed me not to have to think about anything on the wedding day other than having fun with my husband and our friends. Her presence was super great and my husband and I loved spending time with her throughout the day. He especially loved when she laughed at his Lord of the Rings joke :) Maintaining the vibrant colors of Oregon nature in our photos was super important to us so Ann Marie's editing style was perfect. I also want to give her props for shooting our first look in pouring rain and delivering beautiful photos. She had great vendor recommendations as well so booking her early in the planning process was super helpful. We got a first look gallery the day after our wedding which was amazing! Ann Marie also sent us a holiday gift and some prints which were super adorable and much appreciated. I would absolutely recommend her as your wedding photographer!

Planning a wedding, no matter how big or small is a huge undertaking. My husband and I were beyond lucky to have Ann by our side in the planning process and for our special day. Not only did Ann perfectly capture the mood and romantic vibe we were hoping for in our photos, but she also spent time getting to know us as a couple and helped us brainstorm ideas to make our big day special and more personalized to who we are as a couple. My husband and I loved exploring Hug Point and Oswald West with Ann. She is a wealth of knowledge and we learned a ton about the areas history and fauna which only further built on our experience. I cannot say enough positive things about our experience with Ann / Myrtle creative Co. Aside: Thank you Ann for being the beautiful soul you are. It is not everyday you meet someone who is so clearly doing what they were put on this earth to do. Thank you for sharing your talents and presence with us during our wedding. We are so grateful you were by our side throughout this journey.
